My edit from the other post:
Unless you feel led to answer my above question, please disregard. I just realized my issue is not merely doctrinal or doctrinal emphasis. My issue is not even my issue. Tragically the charismatic movement has always been plagued with soulish hype in some way shape of form, and every preacher find himself in a spot where he is merely trying to preach to his people methods and strategies to keep some form of hype or "fire" in their lives. It's always the same cycle, and what they never seem to realize is the fire is a strange fire, it's soulish religion, and it needs to die along with all of the other things they preach need to die. They always settle with some good things, some hype and emotionally charged things that depend on organs behind their sermons and emotional pleas, but will always in some form create a reaction in the soul that will definitely grow churches, because the people crave that atmosphere and soulish discharge of emotion or hype and mistake that with the perfect move of God that has it's origin in heaven and from God Himself.
This preacher, after talking of many of the charismatic tropes like being "slain in the spirit", "gold dust from heaven", "shaking and baking" in the spirit and other things went on to say that God may start these fires but He will never keep them burning...
This is the tragedy of it all, they experienced soul fire, which is why they need more of it and God doesn't keep it burning. It's simply more of what many of Gods more modern prophets have vehemently spoken against from within the very movement itself, and they ignore them and cast them aside because they can just rely again and again on the tried and true method of hype, emotion, promoting the flesh as a way to destroy the flesh, and promoting the cross as a way to grow their church in the form of denying themselves (which suspiciously is always the church giving money as it's chiefest manifestation of self denial).
Sure this ministry might not be that bad, but I can't stand things that are just the best of a bad situation anymore, and neither can the purposes of God. We have realize that God doesn't deal in good, He doesn't want something that can move the world's emotions and grow a big old church, He wants the perfect manifestation of a Church that demonstrates His eternal wisdom to principalities and powers, moves a lost Jewish people to jealousy, and is more concerned with His glory than keeping up with the charismatic Joneses.
Savchuck is a genius of church growth, marketing and passionate pleas to the soul of man, no doubt. He probably has a great marketing and social media team around him, millions of dollars backing his efforts, and even holds to true doctrine, granted more true than most these days. But it's still the world, and it will momentarily move people in God's direction, but like every other carbon copy of this same thing it will pop and fizzle for awhile and one day his church building will be a mosque like so many other huge churches.
Anyone who watched the rise and fall of this exact style of preaching and ministry in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s knows that this message and ministry has almost never resulted in anything of a move of God, it always burns out because they are always trying to keep it burning. Its being held up by financial backers, book sales, and the world. Oswald Chambers once denied a donation that would fully fund his ministry for the foreseeable future saying, "I can't take this money because it would insure I could stick around longer than God intends it" (paraphrase). Would that that wisdom would still be preached today.
Would to God I am wrong, and I sincerely hope I am. We need the perfect, holy God to be all in all.
