Youth At the Crossroads

R
RobertW Aug 1, 2005

I will be at youth camp for our district until Friday August 5th. Please pray for the campers and speakers that God will visit them in a powerful way. Also please pray for me that utterance would be given unto me as I am scheduled to address the youth in one or two of the morning sessions. The young people desperately need a move of God. Thank You and God Bless,-Robert

Bless you brother Robert, as the spirit brings your name into my remembrance I will lift you up before the throne of God. Oh may your words be like a fire and the young peoples hearts like grass. God do a work that will be of you, that men will know it is of you and not of men, not of Robert, Lord do the impossible we pray in your holy name.

Bless you brother Robert, as the spirit brings your name into my remembrance I will lift you up before the throne of God. Oh may your words be like a fire and the young peoples hearts like grass.Praise the Lord for His goodness endureth forever! Oh did God answer the prayers of His people! Only in eternity will we know the results of these prayers! To God be the glory! We had a few hundred youth in attendance. God gave me a message I titled "God in controversy with sinners". It was along the lines of Finney's and other of the old timey preachers views of sinners locked in a 'convicted state' and in controversy with God. Another brother in the Lord ministered a powerful message of repentance of sin and holiness that carried all before it three nights running. God had birthed in the hearts of the leaders to fast and pray in unity for a couple hours before services. Several were saved and just this morning we baptized 24 young people in water. One brother about 18 years of old was filled with the Spirit and began to cry out the word of repentance in the altars calling for total consecration to God and brokenness! It rang in my heart with the fear of the Lord. I encouraged him by telling him of others on this site such as Jesse Morrell and Alan Thomas and others who are crying loud also! Many reported God had filled them with His Spirit. Praise God! I was encouraged by a book a dear brother gave me about a year ago throughout the week by Andrew Boner on the writings of Robert Murray Mccheyne (sp?)! Man died at 29 years of age! He could write the Greek Alphabet at age 4. I shared also some excerpts from that book that blessed others. Many were blessed by hearing Revival Hymn for the first time. Praise be to God for all his works. Many others in the group felt the call to preach the Gospel. Their response to the no holds barred mixture of holiness preaching with powerful unction from the Holy Ghost was one of an 'amen' type affirmation. Many repented in strong crying and tears and received the Holy Spirit. Not all responded, but I am convinced that this generation of youth is unimpresssed by anything less than the strait truth of the Gospel. Praise His Name Forever!

Praise God Robert! Not all responded, but I am convinced that this generation of youth is unimpresssed by anything less than the strait truth of the Gospel. And thank God for that!
