I have 5 minutes left of Internet time, but I thought I'd share that I decided to check out this sermon that Greg has featured currently on the front page. Some key quotes, paraphrased from memory:"Man can change his opinion, but he can't change his convictions.""You can't base your life on emotions. You have to set your heart, like the psalmist wrote."Overall, this is a very good sermon on prayer, equipping yourself to suffer, and truly letting the Holy Spirit lead you in this crucified life in Christ. I encourage you all to find time to listen to it.

Hi Yodi...!Yes, I listened to this powerful message. It brought me to tears. It is a wonderfully convicting message -- and really deserves to be listened to by anyone serious about service for God.

I'd just like to post a little thing that happened: I fell asleep listening to this sermon last night, and missed the last quater. The talk of it here made me listen to the end of it at lunchtime today. I had a prayer meeting for revival tonight with some friends, so I burned it onto CD and played it at the start. They seemed bored at first but as the preaching continued they became very still. The message resonated in our hearts, about revival and prayer and.. the challenge...After an hour it ended we all just sat in silence. Nobody said a word for what must have been ages. It was so still, yet there was a "gripping" or a "burden" in the air. I wasn't aware of the others around but felt under such a power, a pressure, and yet it was something safe. Just under the weight or burden of it, I was trying not to cry, and trying to keep my strength. After a very long time one prayed for a while for revival and for us all to pray more. Then, without wrapping up or anything, we left. Even outside at the cars there was a quiet revrence. Almost nothing was worth saying, except what was already said in prayer. In that stillness we just got in our cars and drove home.

As I read over what I just wrote it reminds me of the quote: When did you or I last tip-toe out of the sanctuary saying,"Surely God is in this place"? -ravenhill
