ChrisA (and others) I apologize

Dear brother and saints,

It grieves my spirit and I am remiss and ashamed if all I’m known as on this forum is a flat earther.

Much more if all I’ve done is use replies to fuel soulish debate. 😫

When you said this:

Everyone pushes his pet agenda and only hears the others enough to fuel his rebuttals

It reminded me of a rebuke/exhortation that I received from a dear brother that I had fellowship with in the past few weeks. He said "I’m concerned that flat earth has become a pet doctrine of yours”. It was a word timely spoken and God has used it to humble and refocus me on what matters most, the preeminence of Christ Jesus our King!

Seeing your post where you said farewell really convicted me too, so I wanted to publicly apologize and ask for your forgiveness for sowing any seeds of disunity, due to my pride, ego, sin. 😢🥺

I love you brother, and all of the precious saints that have remained posting on this forum, and those who have left.

Brother. Thank you for your public apology. As our LORD commands us in Matthew 18, forgiveness is a virtue in the kingdom of GOD. I agree that we all repent of our past and current actions where pride was at the heart of it. Pride betrays and ultimately breaks our relationship with the LORD. In these last days, let us act humbly toward each other, willing to listen and observe (Proverbs 17:27-28) over opening our mouth to express an opinion. I've had a history of acting ungraciously until the LORD set me right with my relationships toward others.

To all who participate in this forum and elsewhere in the digital domain, GOD's word is true and we are all guilty (Romans 3) yet redeemed at a price, the precious blood of our LORD. Let us put aside foolishness and proclaim the Good News of the kingdom.
