sorry to anyone who has clicked this post to find online puritan books, but maybe the thread will be useful because thats what i am looking for.So if anyone could point me towards a collection of puritan works that can be read online i would be very thankfull.I only ask because I've heard the puritan stuff is the best out there, but ill look at other recommendations too.thanx
I haven't found anything for on-line reading, but I recommend Banner of Truth as a publisher. There are some really helpful sets. If you are new to the puritans, try starting with Thomas Brooks. His footnotes have more depth than many sermons. CHSpurgeon's first book was quotes from Brooks.Enjoy

Has anyone read William Gurnall's , The Christian in Complete Armor? I have copy that David Wilkerson translated into a modern version that is easier to read, still long, but good. I have read some of it and it is rich and deep with many spiritual truths.In Christ,Doug

yes ive read some, i went to sea d.wilkerson in Cardiff and he commented on the book so i did bye but did you know that there is volume 1,2 and 3. have you ever read The Spiritual Guide by Michael Molinos. by reading this i understand a bit more about the soul and spirit and how this flesh must die. Its easy to read but deep one of the best books i have read, turned me around from juls. :-)
