I really want to settles the issue of this flesh and get right with God. I want to see old fashioned Penecostal Power. I'm doing it to pray for an Outpouring of the Holy Ghost. I'm at a desperate point in my life.
I know which direction to turn. What should I do?
Well my friend,
You only have one direction to turn honestly, the living God, Jesus. Himself, not doctrine or teaching, hype or where everyone else is going, but to Him.
Jesus said, "come to me".
The words of Jesus disciples come to mind, "To who should we turn? You have the words of eternal life".
I would also, since you seem to believe that your prayer and fasting will get His attention, stop the fasting. I know this seems like the opposite of Godly counsel, but I can assure you, what the Father sees in secret He will reward openly, and since you announced it, you've already received the reward of it.
It sounds like God is bringing you to a place of helplessness and complete dependence on Him, and showing you you have nothing to offer Him. Praise God for that, and simply surrender to Him even if you don't see "Pentecostal power" or anything other than His redemption and He Himself.
I would recommend studying anew the perfectly perfect completely complete sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and what happened there regarding your old man.
Hey Brother, I believe it's the will of God for every believer to have Pentecost and be sanctified.
