This encouragement is for those who feel disheartened at the state of the world.Wherever we look we see churches with low attendance and some who depart from rich truths. This world grows cold and in turn causes us to grow apart from Christ and grow cold in our faith.I too fall into sin more and more when I look at the world and all the distress that its in.
Here is my encouragement to you my family in whom I always pray for because my love for you all is immense. It is an honor to be able to just encourage a few of you.I consider myself a vile man and to be gifted the gift of encouragement is an honor. Please pray that I may use it well.
Hebrews 3:12-13 says "See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called "Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness." I have said this one twice already so lets be sure to listen to it.It also says in Hebrews "Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted."(2:8) and also "Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest."(3:1)
Brothers and sisters always keep your eyes on Jesus.it'll be difficult.Notice the word "fix" meaning that it wont be an easy thing but that is why the church was built up!Help one another and encourage one another! There has never been more of an important time than now to love another and to help one another.Hold on to your conviction to Christ!
In other words.Seek the Lord with all your heart and whatever gift you have been given, practice using it and seek out help and advice from those wiser on how to use it.Pray to the Lord for everything that you will do.Seek God! for the night grows darker and colder.Let us not grow comfortable in a strangers home!We are merely passing through and our home is close!Christ is our home!
Pray always for the family and for the saints placed around the world where God has set them.Pray also for me because I often feel discouraged but I will encourage you all to keep praying always just as our ancient brother who is now asleep "Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always struggling on your behalf in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God." Colossians 4:12 struggle in prayer and fervently pray without ceasing.Stand firm brothers and sisters and let your love for one another be clearer than a sunny sky after a rainy day.
