I have never been personally under so much spiritual attack in mind, body and spirit
Not being able to think clearly and in prayer

Pray as I have never felt under so spiritual attack in mind, body and flesh

There are battles that I don't know how to fight

It is not like I wanted as all I want is jesus and to know him more

Knowing God Through Love

Mike hit the nail spot on dear brother. Jesus is the head of all principality and power, they all exist to ultimately serve His purpose, they have just rebelled. He has disarmed them through the cross, and put them to open shame. Jesus resurrection ultimately destroyed the works of the devil for all those that believe, and He is seated in the heavenlies enthroned on high at the Fathers right hand, and will one day physically return and renew all things in heaven and earth. What a glorious hope we share.

But the power is that all that was for us, in His death we died; in His resurrection we to can be quickened by the same Holy Spirit who raised Him from the dead; and we are seated with Him in the heavens, made partakers of every spiritual blessing because we are in Him.

Looking to Jesus breaks the power of the enemy.

We will overcome in these last days by the blood of the Lamb, and the power of our testimony. Hold fast in the faith and plead the blood dear brother, and never lose faith, no matter what your lot. We walk by faith, not by sight, feeling, emotion; but by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave Himself for us. No matter how we feel, just hold onto the faith that Jesus work on the cross is all sufficient and all you need, and say with Him, it is finished.

Repentance, at least in the understanding you've stated, is the egocentric part, and doesn't even resemble apostolic teaching.

I pretty much agree with what you've said in the article about repentance, that seems to be focused more on a Lost sinner which I wouldn't put Dom in that category.

For as long as I can remember coming to any type of conclusion I have always believed repentance is a change of mind that's induced by the holy spirit and it's not a product of the carnal nature or the flesh of man I believe the carnal nature or the flesh of man or the natural man when it comes to repentance can understand the guilt in reference to the sin that it's committed, but can't change its mind and there has to be a conversion taking place within the inner man and as the inner man is infused with God's holy spirit faith and repentance is something that coexist together and the changing of mind and the trusting and believing in God is something that happens spontaneously together as the new birth occurs.

It has absolutely nothing to do with what the natural man is capable of doing because the natural man cannot have true faith and the natural man cannot truly repent whatever the natural man and lets say what is connected with the carnal nature and the flesh nature can produce a counterfeit that is nothing like true faith and true repentance.


When we talk about repentance for a believer I believe that repentance is something we continue to do as a believer we continue to change our minds as the holy spirit reveals sin that we may not have seen in the past or that we may have fallen into and as the holy spirit reveals and convicts we are given the ability through godly sorrow to change our mind and agree with the holy spirit and recognizing the sin as sin and possibly being exceedingly sinful and in doing so we've changed our mind and when we begin to change our mind we begin to repent and in doing that the holy spirit has induced all that it's a work of the gracious inclinations of the holy spirit and through the mercy through the blood of Christ activated in our soul and this is what we can connect and combine with resting in the atonement the blood of the Cross we set our eyes and our hearts on Jesus and the mercy and this is what allows repentance to take place but it's still a conscious recognizing of sin and turning a turning away from it.

In saying that, that process is intrinsically connected to the growth that Paul talks about as Christ being formed within us and we grow from the stages of being a baby in Christ through to an adolescent teenager young man and then fathers of the faith that all takes a deeper and deeper repentance which results in a more pure faith in The end and through that process of becoming perfected in holiness, and a transformation from glory to Glory and I would consider this all a Gracious work of the holy spirit which man's effort cannot attain or take part in but it's this spirit man growing and taking over the temple of the soul and the body and expressing Christ in us.

The end result being filled with all the fullness of God ✝️🙏🕎

If our looking unto Christ isn't producing a transformed heart and being filled with the love of God to a point or at least moving towards the point of being perfected in love hence the perfect love that casts out all fear this being result of repentance and the transforming of the changing of the Mind one would say even the renewal of the Mind then we have a problem.

And we are probably not looking at Christ the way we should be looking at him.

Or much of the time we may not be actually looking at Christ because beholding Christ produces conviction of sin and has a humbling effect on the soul.

Maybe too much time is spent looking at other people's sins or other people's lives or other people's wrong doctrine or too much time could be spent judging one another or arguing these types of things the holy spirit leads us to put off .

I'm reminded of the apostle Paul when he said ; mind your own business : I think sometimes as Christians we consider other people's lives and other people's faith and walk with God as as if it is literally our business and our job to correct all the time and I honestly don't think the holy spirit leads us to do that all the time but rather the holy spirit would lead us to pray and intercede in the spirit for problems and issues that we see in others.

I'm only speaking in general terms this is not directed at anyone personally.

So much of our conversations and corrections and rebukes reproves and and exhortations are actually not spirit led nor are they done with the true heart filled with love but more with a heart that's been offended and a heart that's ready to argue.

Not a heart that is quick to hear and slow to speak and slow to wrath.

Because of this we find ourselves in a place where our love is growing cold not just for the sinful world and not just for our brothers in Christ but also our love for Christ himself starts to wax cold and Wane and it's a terrible feeling, and that terrible feeling is actually the conviction of the holy spirit pointing out sin, trying to lead us into a deeper repentance and growth in Grace...

Stand strong in faith brother, looking into Jesus and resting in His faithfulness, never your own. The Lord is our shepherd, His rod and staff are a comfort, they comfort the sheep in knowing that we can never be lost to Him, we all must pass under the rod, and He will ensure if we are missing, He will send a search party to bring us back to the little flock.

He is faithful.

I've felt the opposition your facing brother, when it seems dark and like the Lord is nowhere to be found. Know that even this is a mercy and grace from His hand, He will never leave us or forsake us. Jesus is the GOOD shepherd, not some hireling. He is simply ahead, waiting for us to realize that we know the path, and learn to walk it by faith, even in the absence of His felt presence, or distinct guidance, or anything else. Faith in the good shepherd.

My prayers for you were met with strong attack from the enemy, and these are the truths that guide my spirit in those times, looking away from self in the time when men will all say correct yourself, and men say look unto self, and trusting in Jesus ability to guide us, protect us, and His ability to be the good shepherd. We are just stupid, bleating, sheep after all.

I'll say this as gently as I can: ignore Gary, and simply follow Jesus. Gary desires to be the providence of God, and talks as if He knows the hearts of men, while making it plain he has no clue in the words he speaks. We are our brothers keepers, when one part of the body struggles or is under attack, so are we all.

Some men can't stand it if you dare walk with Jesus, but where else shall we Go? He has the words of eternal life.

Our salvation journey can only truly begin when we are rooted and grounded in the love of God in Christ and we will be filled up to all the fullness of God only when we know (that is, experientially know) the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge.

I think we all need repentance

Walter Martin who wrote a book describing the cults described the doctrine of demons

Walter martin was an apologist from the 1960s , he proved that Christians could have demons and as he wrote books like kingdom of the cults I hold his view in very high esteem

I never wanted to be spiritually attacked I need jesus and I need his presence so desperately and I hate sin

Work has been hard recently and I still feel spiritually under attack it is like I pray and go forward and then go ten steps back

I need jesus to deliver me from whatever is going on

I wish that God could disarm all the works of the evil one I my life as I have never felt under so much spiritual attack and wish it was gone , it just seems to get worse and worse and I don't know what to do as I know the bible and I also know the presence of God and I long for it more than anything and I cry about my sin

I so hunger for the holy spirit and for jesus in which the presence in so strong that it can bring everyone to its knees but I feel like I am in a life raft needing help

I always get depressed the way the world is at the moment as we have the world, the flesh and the devil to contend with and then those in the church

I sometimes don't know whether are own demons as all I wanted was when I was younger was to have children and beat the survial of the fittest , at the moment we have a Muslim multiplying like rabbits whilst churches are dying of and there is more life in some churches that a museum full of stuffed animals or a graveyard

We have inflation going up , house prices impossible to afford, we have low paying jobs , massive debt

We have the church of England trying to discuss same sex marriage and transgenderism whilst Muslims are multiplying like rabbits

Then there is Christian feminism which discourages people from having children

We have wars in Ukraine , Israel and other countries
In India , Pakistan, Armenia they are trying to wipe out Christians

I would be interested to see how many Christians can barely pay the bills or in low paying jobs , is this a spiritual attack

There there is the aspect about the future as I can barely get by now

What will our generation of Christians be known for other than the heresy that has spread through our churches , what will Christians remember those in the 2020s for when they look back through history as my name will be forgotten in the vast mass of time

What revivals will be known for in the 2020s

With paganism on the rise , we will all get used to having to fight demons as I don't know how to fight what I am fighting now
As with atheism it was all a mental battle to win over people , how do we get people if they believe in the demonic realm to believe in Jesus

I can argue a islam intellectually to not believe in islam but how can I argue a witch to come to know Jesus without the power of god
