heretical churches ie Hillsong have lots of money whilst true churches cant pay bills

What I find crazy in this world we live in there are few small churches in which the pastor has to work whilst you have massive industry churches such as hillsong that earn millions yet preach a false gospel

There are so many mega churches in the states that have massive amounts of money whilst the people in the congregation are as poor as anything

With inflation as high as it is

We have few churches in England that have 20 or 30 people at most and can barely afford to pay there pastor or he has to do another job

It is insane as I think it was the Methodist churches have lots of churches but there empty

I think when I lived down in Canterbury the church of England owned the land to the Christian bookshop and kicked them out

Then there was another time the churches from where I lived that one church who owned multiple buildings decided to sell them but not give them to any of the other churches in the same town as there are lots of churches without buildings

With inflation as high it is , I know people in America and the UK can barely buy groceries and have enough for anything else as in the UK it says that people barely have enough money for presents

I am praying for a better job and I am praying for my pastor for a better job so he can afford things

It is so sad when churches are empty and people are not saved from hell

This reminds me of David brainerd who could barely afford anything and had to go barefoot with the revival to the Indians whilst you have benny hinn who is staying in presidental suites

It is so sad that the sermonindex can't afford to upgrade the website which would be measly pocket change to some churches as they spend more on the sound system

Quote: Methodist churches have lots of churches but there empty

When they sell Methodist church building, they won't sell to you if you plan it to be used as church building.

Dear brother, only true saints with resources can employ them on true servitude of the Lord. Carnal men will apply their resources where their carnal interests are fostered (heretic Mega church's cause or their own other personal advancement).

And yes this is not to say there are none of these true and reaourced folks simply because we are not aware of them. For they certainly are not to blow a trumpet as they thus serve the Lord with their resources.

But yes in other cases, some true ministers have to continue on a shoestring budget probably because there happen to be no true believer with resources in the picture. And to ask from your yet sinning audience is to defraud as they do not know the value of the ministry of the minister they are supporting.

PS. One thing to note is that godless men's resources has an unworthy funds bearing. By this I mean a high probability of the funds beiy earned through means we would not need to associate with - and therefore should not covet it.

Deut 8:18...You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers as it is this day.

Ephesians 4:28...Let him that stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that is in need.

There are endless references in the bible that we as believers are to give.. To the poor, to each other, to our enemy, to our church leaders, to outreach..missions.

Maybe we should stop preaching against wealth because it sounds like we are supposed to be big givers. Our giving is limited when we are broke all the time.

Edited:
Well said. I reckon what is wrong is pursuit of wealth for personal advancements. One Christian brother once said to me at college: "money is a resource". And he meant this in a Christian context (because I had told him that I see no reason to continue persuing a career instead of a ministry). The issue is that when Christians grow lukewarm as well, it is expected of them to begin to prioritize personal advancements and not the Lord's causes.

PS. SO YOU END UP WITH SOMEONE WHO BELIEVES THEY HAVE NOTHING FOR THE LORD BECAUSE THEY ALREADY HAVE A SHORTFALL ON WHAT THEY CONSIDER BASIC NEEDS. Mr Ravehill told of a man who gave lots dollars to missionaries but drove a car that could be heard groaning (mechanically old in a way?) from a distance. And these wont go to the media to have their charity work published (or be thus proclaimed on the house tops). They keep quiet about it as the Lord advised. So we sadly may not come to know of them until he pleases to reveal them.

That's what I find as evangelist if you can barely pay the bills and there are lots of small churches that can barely pay for there premises
There are pastors who have to work to get by and I think Pakistan is terrible

We desperately need a true revival

Let us study Muller and see where we get to The state of our economies seems to warrant it.

As we are now reminded that the supplies for a needy Christian are not limited to direct mercies of resourced brethren.

As Muller is being studied, let us take special note that his prevailing prayers benefited not only himself but also many other folks in real need. Going before God to seek personal advancement primarily (or exclusively) should be one sure ingredient of prayer that should not prevail. Well, especially if it is in your power to seek their good too. Particularly those that cannot plead for themselves (like poor sinners).
