The Gospel

The Gospel is the GOOD NEWS of the Kingdom of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Rom. 1:9, 16 (KJV) ”“
For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in THE GOSPEL OF HIS SON……… For I am not ashamed of THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

2 Cor. 4:3-6 ”“
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of THE GOSPEL OF THE GLORY OF CHRIST, who is the image of God. FOR WE DO NOT PREACH OURSELVES BUT CHRIST JESUS AS LORD, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of THE GLORY OF GOD IN THE FACE OF CHRIST.

Acts 28”30-31 ”“
And he stayed two full years in his own rented quarters and was welcoming all who came to him, preaching THE KINGDOM OF GOD and teaching concerning THE LORD JESUS CHRIST with all openness, unhindered.

Matt. 24:14 ”“
This GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

(Emphasis in caps).

The Gospel begins with the word of reconciliation.

2 Cor 5:18-21 ”“
Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION, namely, that GOD WAS IN CHRIST RECONCILING THE WORLD TO HIMSELF, NOT COUNTING THEIR TRESPASSES AGAINST THEM, AND HE HAS COMMITTED TO US THE WORD OF RECONCILIATION.
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, AS THOUGH GOD WERE MAKING AN APPEAL THROUGH US; we beg you on behalf of Christ, BE RECONCILED TO GOD. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Comment:

It is GOD HIMSELF who is in Christ reconciling THE WORLD to Himself.

The reconciliation of THE WORLD to God in Christ is in God’s own hands. IT CANNOT FAIL.

Luke 18:27 --
The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.

Also note: "NOT COUNTING THEIR TRESPASSES AGAINST THEM"
