All the false we see now is not unexpected.
I have seen a spiritual decline over decades.
Just one example: many churches did "seeker friendly" programs decades ago.
Hoping to get more people into the churches without proper discernment.
That's when I realised that something is seriously wrong, it grieved me deeply.
It is now very hard to hear a proper Gospel message the way Paul preached it and thankfully many godly preachers after him.
But only the true Christ and His Gospel can bring us everlasting peace.
Without that the enemy can gives us a counterfeit experience and peace, in the name of Christianity.
When we think we can reach people with a "christian" movie or if we follow a preacher who can attract a big crowd and is said to be "anointed" then I see already red flags.
I have read it many times here that we can't have "dead religion", we need to worship God in a way that we can "experience Him"
That means that the risen Christ and His finished work is not a big enough experience.
Christ who was willing to die for us and lift the burden of sin
Who's mercies are new every morning, great is His faithfulness,
His unconditional love, His grace that is sufficient for us
A lifetime is not enough to discover those unsearchable riches that we have in Christ.
Knowing the Truth will help us to discern the false
May we experience His Amazing Grace more and more
