Not a very edifying video series to need to post. A simple stated warning with a few key facts would've sufficed for those that are unaware. It's not wise for us to fill our minds with the filth put forward in this documentary which is secular to boot.

I know things like this are objectionable to even think about, let alone watch. But it is the duty of every christian to warn others about wolves in sheep's clothing.

Usually when I share something like this, the cult apologists come along with their excuses to not judge or touch the anointed of God. Video proof and eyewitness testimony gives them no excuse to keep ignoring it.

Keep in mind, a lot of the prosperity/NAR preachers endorsed this man.

"Grace and peace to you all in Jesus’ mighty name. After much prayer and reflection, I want to share with you all a short statement in relation to the documentary on the BBC regarding my mentor, Prophet T.B. Joshua. Remember first that salvation is personal, as the Scripture says in Revelation 3:20, Philippians 2:12 and John 3:16.

As a disciple of Prophet T.B. Joshua for seventeen years, from 2004 to his passing in 2021, I want to emphasise that my personal experiences do not correlate with any of the allegations in this documentary. I personally witnessed both the fruits of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) and the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:7-11) in the life of Prophet T.B. Joshua. And I saw the name of Jesus Christ consistently glorified and the truth of God’s Word consistently preached.

I have a word of advice for believers. As Christians, we must be careful not to shift our attention, our focus from the spiritual to the natural and get distracted from the Great Commission. Please see Mark 16:15-18, Galatians 3:3 and 1 Corinthians 2:14. Disciples of Jesus Christ must remain focused on doing what God has called us to do - preaching the Good News to a troubled world.

Remember what Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” His power to heal the sick has not changed. His power to deliver the oppressed has not changed. His power to restore broken hearts has not changed. His power to save the lost has not changed. And faith in His mighty name still works wonders today (Acts 3:16, Philippians 2:9-11). Let us continue to fix our eyes on Jesus Christ, the Author and the Finisher of our faith, as Hebrews 12:1-2 says. And let us continue to love everyone and trust only God. God bless you all and remember ”“ it is all about Jesus.”

So a branch of T.B. Joshua's church running damage control is more credible than eyewitnesses now? Do you not care about the women that were raped? About the unborn children murdered by this wolf? About all the phony healings, the people who stopped taking medication under this charlatan's guidance and then got seriously ill or died?

Joshua's closest associates were the ones revealing all of this, one being his own daughter. They have no reason to lie. To say it's all a conspiracy is wilful ignorance.

Could it be that people following Joshua and men like him are not following the real Jesus?

I dont know drifter, I noticed many of the same people came out some years ago and made videos about this or some of this, but none ever went to the police, but they wait now till someone is dead and then come out again.

If it is true then it is sad that people were abused.

You have a bias against much of the charismatic movement that would cause you to believe anything that comes out like this is true.

If John Mac, or Paul Washer was accused, many of their followers would not accept a BBC documentary from a secular god-hating mainstream media, where no legal investigations took place.

I would not accept accusations of John Mac or Paul Washer, under the same circumstances.

I would apply that as a general rule, because of how wicked the secular media is, along with the Hollywood movie industry and the satanic music industry are.

In the biblical scence this would be the evils of Rome making accusations against Christians.

I would not just swallow the agenda of anything secular or mainstream religiosity of the Pharisees and saduses in the past nor throughout 2000 years of history, nor would I do it today as if somehow the ruling principality and powers, and the rulers of the darkness are in less control today of most of the powers that be .

@ 41" of the video he calls himself "a disciple of Prophet TB Joshua." and not a Disciple of Christ.
Then he talks about his "personal experience" and not about the experience of the victims.
I won't quote what he says @1:35min. it is blasphemy.
I couldn't watch any further.
The work of the devil has been exposed, no point to try and "balance" it.

We don't know the true Christ and His wonderful Gospel anymore and we have lost the fear of the Lord.

I agree that we should warn about charlatans and false teachers, and at a glance this guy sounds like he was wicked. My concern however was the video itself and the effect if may have on others.

For some, you could liken it to watching a pornographic video or a violent movie to discern what you shouldn't be looking at in the future, when you already know right and wrong. Similarly, this video looks like it has the ability to put disturbing images into some people's mind head who may not be able to deal with it. It also comes from a secular media source without wisdom who are 'exposing someone' who is dead and can't respond.

It also has the potential for others to experience revisiting a trauma or feeling distress if something similar has happened to them, and therefore is unwise when a published statement would have suffice.

Inthe spirit of not wanting to offend or cause anyone to stumble, I would remove those links from the original post.

Also, I'm not a big fan of BBC. I always take what secular media says with a grain of salt. However, not everything they say is wrong. God can use these people to expose false teachers, much like He did with Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Bakker (after they were both warned personally by David Wilkerson, by the way.)

I watched some of the first part, and will look at the rest as time permits. These links should remain in the thread. The film footage shows TB Joshua to be much like Rodney Howard-Browne, Benny Hinn, and so many other false prophets who, like shamans and gurus, make people fall out upon the floor and twitch spasmodically. This is the kundalini spirit, and it is evil. It is sad that one young lady who came out of this cult has given herself over to lesbianism. She claimed it had been deep rooted in her even as a young Christian in the UK, but suppressed, before ever going to Nigeria.

In a very different arena, I saw recent video footage of Taylor Swift in a large stadium raising her right hand and everyone to her right stood up, and then lowered her hand and everyone sat again, and did the same with her left. It is remarkable how much power and influence one person can have over the masses. Last year she invited her fans to stamp their feet so hard in a concert in Seattle, Washington, USA that they caused a 2 point Richter scale earthquake. This made international headlines.

Update: I just watched all three parts. It is staggering. Everyone should watch this. What a terrible object lesson for us all.
