I was thinking about our LORD and HIS sacrifice. If you asked any "christian", pick your genre, why CHRIST died on the CROSS, they will tell you that HE took our sin there upon HIMself. Little to no debate. All will agree, with great certainty, that this is what HE did, according to HIS word and the Biblical account. HE who knew no sin, became sin for us? Why? So we could become "HIS righteousness". One is as certain as the other, but how many believe this?
If you minted a coin and put "HE bore our sin" on one side, on the opposite side, would have to be, "we bear HIS righteousness". One simply cannot have one side, without the other. One side today is not debatable, yet men strive to mar the opposite side, much to their loss.. If you put this coin in your pocket, you must carry both sides. If you lose the coin, you lose both sides. But if you keep, and invest it, your ROI will be eternal life.
