Daily Prayer {Today's Petition}

October 29, 2003This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it! Psalm 118:24Simplicity in a world of complexity.A one item prayer for the day.This day.Today's Prayer Lord God, our Father who is in Heaven.We are thankful for all things that come from your hand. This work that is before you, born out of your servants heart, to supply food for the brethren. This rich diet of your pure Word, spoken to us through these giants of the Faith.That have been preserved and long forgotten, now speak to this generation, stiring us to greater heights and deeper truths.Let there be brought forth supporters of this noble work. Stir the hearts of the hearers. It has been asked for 50, but I believe there is no limit to what You are able to provide. 100 may be to small a number. Surpass our expectations so that glory may be brought to Your Name.In Jesus Name I pray.Amen

I purposely left todays prayer blank.My reason being that I don't believe thatI should be offering up prayers to God if I amin disobedience to what He is telling me to do.I know that the lord has been telling me that I need to give up smoking. I won't bore you with the details, the lame excuses, struggles, etc.If you are so inclined, I covet your prayers, and if somebody else want's to take over this thread and keep it going, please do.Until I am in complete surrender to our Lord, I have no business continuing this.
