Hey Christisking, Please excuse me if I read it wrong, but I thought that if money became a spiritual issue (eg. an idol) then you were in trouble?Im going to feel so silly if I read it wrong...!God bless :-)
I didn't write it and forgot who did. But I think the author was trying to say that what you do with your money is a spiritual issue and that this teaching is disapearing in the chuches today. (unless of course we are talking about the building fund )When I read the gosels I see that Jesus talked about money and hell probalbly more than anyother subject.Again, if what you do with your money (i.e - build it up here on earth, live in luxury and comfort, hoard it for your self and your family, buy bigger house and nicer cars - instead of pouring it out to further the salvation of a lost and dieing world) is no long a issue in your church. I agree with the author - you had better find a new church.Sorry if the saying wasn't clear.
