Evangelizing at an "Evangelic" Festival...

Dear brothers and sisters,From Thursday till Sunday I will be going to a “Christian” Music Festival in my country. This Festival isn’t really Christian at all. It’s much noise, much music, little truth and little preaching.Many young people will attend this Festival some of whom will be real Christians, most of them will simply be regular Churchgoers and a bunch of them will probably be non-Christians.Together with a few others we had/have it on our hearts to go there and share the Gospel with those people. I really covet your prayers in this. I myself am pretty discouraged today. I went to the hairdresser this morning, received an opportunity to share the Gospel and just couldn’t find the words to share the truth with him (and the others). I didn’t have the guts…I afterwards screamed it out to God and shouted: “God, You know I want to, but it seems like I don’t have a message to bring! Help me!”.Please pray for me that God will put His words in my mouth and that He will lead us (me and the others) to address the right persons and that the Holy Ghost will convict them of sin, judgment and righteousness."Without Me, you can do nothing" (John 15:5)Thank you!Paul

Paul and William, I pray to our God' that as you repent before him each day in preperation, that he will have mercy upon you and that by His Grace, he would pour out, the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon you. That he would bring scripture to you to speak and that the power of God would draw people to hear the word. That Jesus would so shine his light upon them that they would hear the truth. Thank you all for your encouraging comments and prayers.We'll be evangelizing with only a very small group and one-on-one. Evangelizing is not encouraged at this Festival, that will be attended by over 10.000 young people (15-25 year).A precious sister in Christ wrote me yesterday:"Always remember this: you first have to become the message before you bring the message"I read this morning:He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself (1 John 5:10)What is this witness?That God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
