A Wolf?

By what means do we tell a wolf from the real thing? What Scriptural tests are we to apply so that we know for sure? Are all false teachers considered wolves?

This is my thoughts,I think Jesus was talking in general terms about things not being what they sound like.How can we tell a wolf is different? Well, it smells different, walks different and behind the bleating is made different.I guess one good test with anything is are the fruit of the spirit in evidence fom someone.As we know Jesus spoke in pictures easily understood so peeople would have known about wolves disguising themselves to get at the sheep.you askAre all false teachers considered wolves?This is a hard question,but i think it goes back to what are people producing,if you end up getting torn to pieces then yes sadly we see a wolf.I said at the start Jesus was talking generally,I dont mean he was not serious,I'm sure he was and is.There are those who are Wolves and intent on mayhem,there are those who are not wplves and just wrong or misguided,can you see the difference?any help? :-)
