I would ask that you guys would be with me in prayer concerning a great number of things:1) I start attending Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary here in Charlotte this fall as I will pursue a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies, which will take about 2 1/2 years to complete. Pray that I choose the classes as I need to take them, and that I will be able to properly manage my schedule between church, work, school, home life, and my girlfriend.2) My pastor has recently asked me to prayerfully consider starting a prayer team at Church. Also, since almost all our folks from the College & Singles class at church are going away for the fall (of which I am pastor over), back to their respective schools, he is wanting me to consider teaching high school class, and/or a young fammilies (an age 30's group). The biggest challenge for me in all this will be properly allocating time. Please pray with me.

KJ,I will pray for you. Remember to take everything your professors say with a grain of salt. Let the Holy Ghost guide you. I have considered seminary, and have heard from multiple people that have been to seminary that there are some quacks out there. If it is in the Word, it's important. If it's not, it's not. One guy from my church says that he honestly hates it.Duncan Campbell has an excellent testimony, during which he includes what happened to him at seminary:https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?lid=380&commentView=itemCommentsThe more you sweat time, the more it will wear you out. If you place yourself on the altar, and totally dedicate your whole self to the LORD (nothing held back), and allow Him to break you, you have only to wait for the holy fire to come down. I guarantee the Spirit won't misguide you. If you're not willing to commit wholly to Him, you will wear yourself ragged.God bless you for seeking the LORD. We need men of God to faithfully preach the Word.

Just a note, I'm not too worried about learning any junk that will lead me astray in seminary. I've already completed Bible college, and while both the Bible College and Seminary are both conservative schools, in my research and our survey of other views, I was introduced to some extremely liberal thought simply by seeing what others believed, and am not worried about getting taken astray. But pray for that as well, just in case :)
