When I read this in light of what I (and many on this forum) see happening in the churches today, it was like a smack in the face. My jaw hit the floor. I thought I was the only one that thought that (ha ha). Seriously, the vast majority of today's 'churches' I believe have very few born-again beleivers. If you know you are born of the Spirit, we must get on our face and pray that God cleanse us and use us to guide these others. We must pray that the Holy Ghost will fall down on us and rebuke us all of our wrongdoing. Once we realize how wrong others may be, if we just sit back and criticize them, we are accountable. I agree with the post, and feel responsible to reach these people.

And what ways have you been successful and unsuccessful. I ask this because I am always looking to do more and maybe you or someone else is doing something I haven't thought of, or could be doing or should be doing to reach these people.Dave Hunt says "the hardest people to get saved are people who already think they are saved." I think I agree with him.

Amen sister dorcas! Anything we would, could or should do that is not accompanied by prayer is of the flesh and our own humanistic efforts and thus in my opinion useless. What I am looking for is the things we should be doing to accompany prayer. Prayer is good, vital, absolutely essential, and 100% necessary - I agree with you also 110%. But we must do more than just pray and sit back an wait for God to do something. We are supposed to be fishers of men. What are some of these other thing people are doing to reach out to and evangelism these people?

Yes, there is a counterfeit religious spirit that responds to the name of Jesus. It comes complete with good feelings and goose bumps. The only things we really can do are pray and ask God for Spirit-led opportunities to share the truth. It is not an easy thing to do, but thanks be to God: the battle is His!For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them (Eph. 2:10).If He sees a way, there will be one. My recent prayers have changed-I so far knew the god of my own handiwork- The god of my own imaginations- The Blessed Holy Spirit came to me these past days with this conviction telling me that the God and the Jesus I know are fake! All my prayer titles are shifting now “Lord let me know the true God the true Jesus the true Holy Spirit!” How the article expresses my own conditions and the conditions of many in our days! Bro. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT SUBJECT!!!!So what are we doing to reach these people. Please let me know what you personally are doing or what you feel we should be doing to reach these people who have been so cleverly deceived.It is true that it is God’s battle, but we are His soldiers, are we not? We are His earthy warriors. Not warriors by means of man, God forbid, but warriors against the principalities and powers that have slipped in under our noses and now fight unchecked behind the pulpits claiming to be angels of light!!! Demons disguised as angels of light have taken over the pulpits of the western churches preaching a false Jesus and a false gospel and I can not accept that we should just pray, wait for an open door and talk about how bad and deceived everyone else is. (I acknowledge that these are all necessary, but firmly submit for discussion that these are in no way enough, but by themselves just a cop out that we will be held accountable for!) Is that what Paul or Peter or James or John would have done? How about John the Baptist or Elijah, Jeremiah or Isaiah, or how about our example and Master Jesus Christ? What would they do in the face of these word of faith, seeker-sensitive, purpose-driven, christianity-light, sappy, self-serving, fake, counterfeit Jesus teachers? Think about it! There are very strong men and women of God on this forum who see the same things I see. Let us put our head together and answer these questions. Jesus told us that many false prophets would arise and mislead many. Because people didn’t want to obey God’s word (lawlessness) the love of most would grow cold (Matt.24:11,12).We are in the last days. I agree that we should do something. I have been doing it since the Lord told me to repent three and a halve years ago. I have taught, preached, even confronted. Many Christians don’t want to hear it, nor do they want to discuss Scripture. They think you are a fanatic, if you tell them that they should repent. As soon as you address a theological issue which conflicts with a denominational doctrinal point, the discussion ends. Several pastors have told me that it is easy for me to disagree with some doctrinal issue. They can’t publicly, since they have a family to feed.The reason that I said the things in my earlier post is that I have come to a point where all I can do is ask my Father. I started a website (click on the Father’s Final Call on the side), wrote a book, and teach when I am allowed to. As far as I am able to discern from my Father, the greatest issue in the Church is disunity. I have spoken to a number of pastors, some have even laughed at me when I suggested that we should attempt unity. I have come to a place where I have the assurance that God is in control. I tell Him that I am available and will do anything He asks me to do. The website was an open door that He allowed. I tried it three years ago and it went nowhere. It is still God who has to bring people to read and respond. We certainly aren’t able to. He is the One who sends a delusion on men when they are disobedient. Jesus said that no one could come to Him, unless His Father drew them, or granted it. Prayer, I believe, is the most powerful weapon we have as Christians to ask a merciful God to delay judgment, so many may be saved (Ezekiel 22:30 and 31). I am all for spiritual warfare, but we have to remember that unless a man repents and allows himself to be filled with the Holy Spirit, the evil spirit will return with some of his buddies and the condition of that man will be worse than before. I believe that this also applies to groups of individuals who refuse to repent. Unless an assembly repents and turns around, they will continue to be deceived.In His Love,Hans Prang

Thanks for response Hans,It is encouraging to know that there are some warriors for Christ out there. That is the kind of thing I am looking for. I hope others will respond with what they are doing or what they feel we need to do. I will continue to pray and also pray for you, my brother, that God will keep you strong and bold - and that the Lord will open many doors for you to help and preach the real Jesus and repentance to those who have been deceived. Is Hans the only one who is trying to reach out and evangelize to these people? Is there anyone who is openly and confronting these false teachers?If no one is trying to reach out to these peole and no one is standing up to these false teaches. No wonder we find the church in the condition it is in today.
