Dear Greg,I've been wondering how it is that threads get posted accidentally, and wonder if it could be related to whether members prefer to view a thread from oldest to newest?Those who view from newest to oldest, have the 'reply' button at the top of their screen,whereas those of us who don't, always have to scroll back up to the top of the post to find the 'reply' button. It's easy to forget.Within the context of being able to choose 'oldest to newest', I wonder whether the 'reply' function could also switch, so that for those viewing oldest first, the reply button is at the end of the post, instead of the beginning?I have no idea if this would make a difference, or, could be switched easily, at the same time as 'view oldest first' is selected, but thought you might be able to research whether there is a co-relation.My other suggestion would be to change the 'post a new thread' button, to a distinct colour, eg red, (as a 'RECORD' button), or lime green, which might alert us to take extra care.Trying to be helpful here. :-P
