That They May Be Perfected In Unity

Dear brothers and sisters,Having read a number of posts, and participated in the Forum a few times by placing a post, the division in the Body of Christ is obvious. I have read the various opinions on God’s wrath regarding hurricane Katrina. One member asked for help with a friend. I have counseled for approximately 20 years. Christian counseling only, this means: no psychiatry, nor psychology. The Christians God has allowed me to minister to had various degrees of difficulties as a result of sexual, physical, mental abuse, abortion, substance abuse, religious spirits, or involvement with the occult. In one of my last posts I quoted James 5:16, which shortly thereafter was put into question by another Forum member. I am not placing this post to accuse someone, nor to defend myself, but to beg you to read and obey the Scriptures. There is a flood of information in the Church today that is NOT from God. Confusion reigns. Our God is not a God of confusion. When the apostle James wrote that we should confess our sins to one another he wrote it with the authority of the Most High, not from his own experience. We should not question the Word of God even if it turns out that it may be painful to obey it. I believe that one of the reasons is that Christians are encouraged to confess their sins to one another is that God has equipped some with the gift of discernment of spirits. This gift is invaluable when we counsel Christian brothers and sisters. My experience is that many Christians are deceived by Satan and never find freedom alone on their own.As far as hurricane Katrina is concerned: Early Friday morning, February 22, 2002, I got up for my usual morning prayer time. Almost immediately after I began my prayer time with worshiping my Father, I got an image of two fingers. The Lord showed me that these were "two proud fingers," which had been raised to exalt the achievements of men. It was clear that this image related directly to the "word" I received during the second week of April 2001. "During the second week of April 2001, I understood that three or four aircraft would crash and that Babylon would burn. Since I was employed in an inspection function of the Canadian Air Navigation System, I interpreted this "word" to apply to Canadian airports. Since I favor the Bible interpretation of Babylon to be Rome, I was quite certain that it was Rome that would burn. When I met with the pastor of my church in late August 2001, I shared with him the burden in my spirit that something serious was going to happen which would have a deep impact on the world. I also shared with him that this would only be the beginning of more calamities to come. In retrospect I realize that the "word" I received in April 2001, more than likely pertained to the horrible events of September 11, 2001, in New York, and not to Rome.Through a number of dreams and words the Lord has shown me that many calamities will come. They will increase in frequency and cause more and more upheaval in the world. I don’t say: “Thus saith the Lord.” This type of prophecy frightens me, but going by the dreams and words I received I know that we are at the beginning of the end as far as the Church age is concerned. The Church is under judgment. She is under judgment because She doesn’t repent and continues to follow the various paths of Her own choosing. Prayer, if and when prayer is practiced, is highly ineffective, because the Church has decided Who God is. The instructions of Jesus are explained away in various ways by various denominations. I have a draft copy of a book written by a Pastor who algebraically “proves” that the Father is The Son, the Son is the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is the Father. For that reason, he argues, we should pray to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, because they are all the same. The point we as the Church miss is that Jesus told us how to pray, He never told us to “figure” out His relationship with His Father or the Holy Spirit, but He told us how to pray. He never told us to figure the “Godhead” out, but simply to obey Him.God determines how and who He will judge, it is not up to us to figure it out, or to second guess Him. Let us go to our knees and beg God to have mercy and to speak to Christian leaders to go back to His Word and seek the unity that Jesus asked His Father for in John 17:23: I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, SO THAT THE WORLD MAY KNOW THAT YOU SENT ME, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.In His Love,Hans PrangAnd in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you (John 16:23).

amen, Hans .. to everythingand perhaps the two fingers could be construed as america and rome, as two proud towers of spiritual babylon on this earththey both have given God the finger - quite proudly, since their inceptions - in spite of boatloads of pious talk
