Why would God?

This came off of a thought from another thread. Why would God tell anyone anything? Why would He do it? Why would He tell a prophet or just a "layman" (if there is such a thing) something that will come to pass? I assume it is just because He "so loved" us. Jhn 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. My point was why would God inform without giving directions as to what to do about it. “And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.”(Luke 21:20-21, KJVS)This warns of impending trouble and tells us what to do about it.There are many answers to the question 'why would God tell us anything' but I was on a very precise issue; why would God tell you this?

Hmmm I don't know why He would. To pray for them maybe? I don't have a platform to tell anyone (who would seem relevant to my feeble mind) to get out of CA or to tell them about a destruction coming. Did God tell me about something that will happen in CA? I don't feel that I have a sure word from God about it. I just stated that San Francisco came to mind soon after the hurricane. This nation needs prayer from California to the Twin Towers (or what use to be), from New Orleans to the border of Canada.

I think you are missing the point. There are those who are in the plan of God who know all that the Father has planned except the time of His return. If they didn't where would the gift of word of knowledge be.As for my thoughts are not your thoughts. God tells us that His reasonings are not like those of man. He chooses to do things that are above the nature and thoughts of man. That is why he says those things. In order to know the plans of the Lord one must be in the will of God, obediently. That's why we are told to put on the mind of Christ. Because who has known the mind of the Lord except the Lord, himself. If we put on the mind of the Lord we will know things that He knows and the things He chooses not to reveal to us we are to trust His plans are certain and the outcome will benefit us in the end.All He asks from us is absolute surrender and trust in Him. When we do that we will know.

In 1990 I had a dream of 4 plains crashing 2 followed followed by a third and a space of time then a forth. At the time I didn't understand what it was I saw and had I understood it, I was unable to sound any real kinda warning anyway. So why did I see that? I kept the matter in prayer. As with all of what God does in His acts of declaring the end from the begining, it's to show that He is God, soverien, and in full control. So be encouraged. You'll probably have oppurtunity sometime later to sound the trumpet, even if to one key person. And if not? Keep Praying. Besides BOTH San Francisco and Philadelphia are soon to be judged for thier gay agenda and its wickedness has come before the Lord of Hosts and thier days are now numbered.
