Sorry for the mystic title - only wanted to peak the interest. I am simply writing to share with you all a personal warning, and an encouragement that I believe the Lord shared with me. A few weeks prior to Hurricane Katrina the word "virgin" and "virginity" kept coming up mysteriously, through sermons, thoughts and the like. I didn't pay it any unusual amount of attention but thought perhaps God may be speaking to me. It wasn't until after Katrina that I found the meaning of the name Katrina is virgin that it really exploded in me!Paul says in 2 Corinthians 2:11 (correct me if I'm wrong) that we are espoused to one husband, Christ, and when He returns we need to have kept ourselves virgin for Him. Isn't it odd that a hurricane named Virgin struck the most "un-virgin" city in america? A city who has fornicated with everything from southern decadence, girls gone wild, mardi-gras, voodoo and the like? This city was the most devastated and the most affected. A city known for its rampant spiritual fornication, and lack of virginity was absolutely put out of commision by the coming of a storm called Virgin.I'm simply feeling warned that the Lord Jesus, who has kept Himself pure and virgin for His bride is coming - but will He find us virgin? When He comes will we be in bed with the world and it's system? Will He truly find us as a bride without spot or wrinkle? The Virgin King is coming and He is coming for a Virgin Bride! Let us get out of bed with the world and cast from ourselves the compromised church we have birthed through our fornication - and let us make ourselves ready for the coming of the Virgin King!For those in spiritual fornication, the coming of the Lord will not be light but darkness!
