Meditation in the Scriptures

Due to a teaching engagement I will be off thread for 6 weeks. Returning on the 1st of November. I am sure that is a relief to some of those who are not 'ten hodot'However, as is the custom when I am tied up, I 'carpe deum' and post a meditation, which compels me to stay fresh and will hopefully gob stop the perenial posters to consider rather than comment. The Meditation:WHICH WERE BORN, NOT OF BLOOD, NOR OF THE WILL OF THE FLESH, NOR OF THE WILL OF MAN, BUT OF GOD.AND THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, AND DWELT AMONG US,(AND WE BEHELD HIS GLORY, THE GLORY AS OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER,) FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH.JOHN 1: 13,14

maybe a little off topic, but i can't read that well japanese or chinese or whatever it is, but what does that sign mean ? "peace"? (checked it in the linkname)William
