Just that I got to go to a meeting at church tonight for anyone interested in being a part of a team to go help out in the Gulf Coast is an answer to prayer! For some of you on SI that I've talked to through messenger or email, or have read my SI and xanga posts, you know that since Hurricane Katrina hit, I've been anxious to go over and help. In the meantime, I've been trying to help out in any way I can through donations and prayer. I have been so touched to read about Chanin, Arielle and the rest of their family getting the opportunity to minister to the people down there. Just today, Arielle sent me a touching video she put together to show her church that helped out so much with donations. My anxiousness has died down a bit, but I still have a desire in my heart to go and help in any way I can. I'm hoping that being anxious has turned into patience and that my outlet has been faithful prayer for those who have been affected by the hurricane and all those that are helping. I will be continuing to pray for a team from our church that's leaving this weekend. I'm personally praying for an opportunity to go myself with a team next month, in October. This means so much to me to possibly get to be a part of this outreach. So please, if you feel led, pray that God would provide and open the doors, if it would please Him, to send me.
