Hello everyone. I was wondering if you could maybe help me in my studies.I'm looking into evangelistic sermons from a linguistic point of view - using only UK speakers, I'm afraid. Someone posted that they'd been listening to a sermon by Leonard Ravenhill from 55. Does anyone know where I'd access this, or other evangelistic sermons from the 50s?Thanks!Graham

Yes, there is a sermon by Leonard Ravenhill from the 50's named "Revival" other then this one I am not sure of others that are preached in the UK. I would venture to say that possibly the Willie Mullan recordings are from those times but was He in the UK?

Thanks, Greg. I'll check it out.As you also say, Willie Mullan does have some from the 50s and early 60s, and he's a UK preacher. However, his sermons seem to be pretty expository, and I'm not sure if they have more of a teaching emphasis than an evangelistic one.Best wishesGraham

Oh no brother, this man desired men to come to the Lord every time He spoke. I would say almost every message of his address unbelievers in the midst of the church. Some though could be more evangelistic then others.
