Dr. ADRIAN PIERCE ROGERSSeptember 12, 1931 – November 15, 2005 “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

I haven't listened to Dr. Rogers much since I was coverted. When I was converted on my lunch break I would listen to him. After I went back to college I didn't ever listen to him (he was not on a radio station there or not at a good time for me.) One thing he did impact me with is that the same Holy Spirit that moved upon the waters, lives in me! I was saved about a week and heard a sermon he preached about it. I was working at a big book warehouse at the time and when I went back to work, I thought I was just going to dance on into heaven. I guess I didn't have a revelation that Christ lives in me until then. All I knew was that I was different.

The thing about Dr. Rogers that blessed me so much was how he would always say:"Jesus is Lord!" May it be so in all of our lives as it was so evidently in his.

Glad you posted this. I enjoyed listening to him - most of the time - but have not for a while. He had a wonderful sermon dealing with pro-life issues - he was right on the money. My Dh loved to listen to him because he liked his voice! :-) Now I will have to do a search to see what caused his death. He will be missed, I am sure. ginnyrose

This must have gotten buried somewhere...Was looking earlier yesterday to see if anyone had made mention of his departure... Didn't intend to start another thread, just didn't see this one.

Don't go much for being... Oh forget it...When I hit the "Submit" button on the reply bellow, the page refreshed and what comes up in the "Random Article" ?The Blessing of Brokenness Out of how many articles? To top it off, note how many of his are here... Will let someone else do the math. The hairs are standing up still

Just to double check and confirm... This is not tied to particular words like the Google adds, where it grabs similarites and does a search, giving results... At least I am pretty sure about that.. A little test to confirm, Adrian Rodgers(Call me weird, there's been worse...)*Edit: To clarify, I meant earlier after refreshing back to the home page... The results of the test this time...The Imitation of ChristBy Thomas a Kempis
