I have never worked with video at all and need help.Ernest O'Neill has many video sermons in different formats and wants to put them on DVD so they can be played on a home DVD player.Does anyone know how to do this? What software can be used to do this?PLEASE HELP!!!
I guess it really depends on what you mean by "different formats".Are you referring to different analog media such as VCR tape or camcorder tape, or do you mean different computer video file formats such as .wmv or .mpg?If you have the sermons on VCR tape for example, you will need a video capture card, a DVD burner, and a good software tool such as NeroVision Express which came with the DVD burner I bought last year for my PC. It can capture video from an exteranl source and burn directly to DVD+VR in real time or it can convert existing video in different file formats to DVD. The file formats include....mpg.asf.wmv.dat.aviObviously the quality of the DVD video is only as good as the what you put in, something in .asf format for example will likely be of a low sample rate and therefore the video quality will be poor. However, if you have original VCR tapes you could make some decent quality DVD's.In Christ,Ron
