Book recommendations?

I go to a small youth group in my church, mostly made up of college students. Most of them are relatively new Christians, and the ones that aren't are kind of shallow in their spiritual walk. We don't have a leader yet, we are still looking for one, so I find myself having to lead and guide them most of the time. Well anyway, I'm looking for a good book to give them that won't go totally over their heads, but will awaken them and lead them into a deeper walk with God. So far the only one I could come up with is Knowledge of the Holy by Tozer. Can you guys recommend any other good books?

"The Normal Christian Life" by Watchman NeeThat is a tremendous book and is very simple for people to understand it talks about the deeper chrisitan life (which is essentially the normal christian life). He uses many allegories and simple illustrations to get divine truth across to people. This is a very good foundational book that goes over many aspects of the Christian life. It would be tremendous to go chapter by chapter through it in a study. There are many scriptures that are referenced to also.

"Rees Howells: Intercessor" by Norman Grubb This is a book of the Spirit, not of the flesh and it will show what will do in your life if you fully submit to Jesus. It's an incredible book and the Lord can use it I believe to new Christians, as well as "old" ones.Another one of my favorite books is entitled "Hungry for More of Jesus" by David Wilkerson. The title speaks for itself but I enjoyed going through this book several times.

I can second Greg's recommendation for The Normal Christian Life, it's a classic.I would also recommend DeVern Fromke's classic called Ultimate Intention. This book was instrumental in my own understanding of a God-centered view of the Christian life. But Battle Cry for MY generation seems like a book to read. :-P (Not from experience, like the rest, this is just something I think will prove very fruitful from the testimonies)

"Absoute Surrender" by Andrew Murray is one of the books that has had the deepest impact on my life.When I was a young christian, I read "The Pursuit of God" by A.W. Tozier. I should reread it. It sure stirred me to draw closer to God.Currently, I'm reading "Why Revival Taries" by Leonard Ravenhill (ouch!). And waiting on the shelf is "The Life and Diary of David Brainerd by Philip Howard. Oh why can't I rub shoulders with men such as these? They're either dead or living in South Africa! Martin :cry:
