TUTORIAL: Choosing an Avatar ImageIf you have ever wondered why there are little small graphics of characters beside people's names then the mystery is over with. They are called Avatars, which in computer lingo just means an graphical representation of yourself online. Usually people choose funny characters or something that is an inside joke with someone. I found an image of an 'penguin' which I am using for my Avatar (it's an inside joke btw) but I do live in Canada and its quite cold sometimes.. hehe.STEP 1 -An example of an avatar.STEP 2 -The first step in choosing or changing your current Avatar is to first login. If you don't have an account with SermonIndex you can register for FREE! Then choose the 'view account' link on the top left of the screen.STEP 3 -Then click on the 'edit profile' button.STEP 4 -Then scroll down and find the 'xoops' link and choose it.STEP 5 -A popup box will appear with many images, choose one that you like by pressing the 'select' button below that certain image.STEP 6 -The scroll down to the bottom of the page and choose the 'save changes' button. And that should save your choice and you Avatar is choosen.. CONGRADULATIONS.. that was easy wasn't it? :-D
