pray for my church they dont seem to see the need for prayer we have 3 nights that anyone can come and pray but every one seems to have something more important to do Brother I have started a prayer meeting specifically for revival at my old presbyterian church. There is some interest but for the most part people don't understand the vital need to pray. "Today we are living in desperate times. Yet, the Church is not desperate before God in prayer." - Chuck SmithKeep praying on even if there are 1 or 2 that are joining you. The prayers of a few in union and agreement can have more of an effect then many praying. Pray for the burden of God and the spirit of prayer to fall on the whole congregation. Right now I am working on "issue 4" for the old paths which is a print publication of sermonindex. Check out some of the Back Issues and think about printing some off for people in your church, it could stir them to pray possibly? or to understand the great need.
Thanks 4 the back issues , thers four of us praying now so it seems like the lord is doing a work, but at the same time I cant help but be frustrated with my church i love them but no one wants to preach the gospel. only 4 want to pray and even the 4 dont want to put words in to action ther is no zeal the whole place is luke warm all they want to do is sing songs and im sureits become a stench to the Lord. i fill like there holding me back but i dont know what to do i dont whant to forsake the brethern and besides thers no where to go ever other church iv been is just as bad ,man I fill like Elijah like im the only one left that wants to serve the Lord, i want hide in a cave or something but i know i cant do that.well thanks for leting me vent plese pray for me and my church thanks < aaron619

Intercede for those lukewarm hearts with your own hot heart. Come before the Lord in repentance and with clean hands and a pure heart pray down the untold blessings of heaven, you are an royal priesthood, this is your calling. praying, maybe they need more evangelism in the preaching ? just an honest thought, I've heard a preacher say that was his focus at one time in his ministry of church preaching
