Prayer Request...

Hello...I am asking for prayer concerning my back. Yesterday, I helped an international student carry a box upstairs to the third floor of the dorms here. I didn't feel it at the time, but I somehow hurt my back in the process. This morning, I have a presentation to make (at 11:30am Central Time) in one of my classes. Tomorrow, I have four papers due, as well as two final exams. Please pray that the Lord touches my back. There is a sharp pain in my upper back/shoulders (mostly between, and including, my shoulder blades). I know it may not sound like a big deal -- but it is a little difficult to concentrate while studying, writing and preparing for a presentation. Thank you for your prayers -- and thank you Jesus for your answer! :-)

Hi Dorcas...Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. My back is feeling great now! I have never really experienced back pain like this before -- and I hope to avoid it in the future. But the pain did not last long.It was a particularly bad time to have such back pain because of finals exams. Many of my finals were essays, which added with my Graduate essays in each class and my thesis constituted alot of research and writing. I counted just the pages of writing from this semester's written assignments (not counting my thesis), and it ammounted to about 140 pages! To keep from feeling overwhelmed, I visited SermonIndex on occassion to just read, relax and be encouraged by a challenging message or two! I have one last final exam tonight (a fun class -- Advanced Historical Research Methods at 6pm American Central time). However, this will be a test administered online in the department's computer lab. I already have an 'A' in the class -- so it feels great!Thank you, everyone, who prayed for my back! As always, the Lord intervened! Please continue to pray for me as I will have a busy week -- and I need to find favor in the eyes of many people. :-)

But the pain did not last long.Amen! I did have a clear impression that the Lord was going to fix it for you.... and after that, it seems to be a lack of faith if one goes on praying for what one believes one has already received.... Glad to have your definitive word on it, though. :-P
