hey just a quick question- which letter to the thessalonians was written first? i've heard it both ways and reading it both ways makes sense to me but presents two very different situations. just curious if there's anyone out there who knows much about it. thanks, dear brethren.
IN the intro in my Bible it says:1 Thess:Time of writing, Approx AD 54, during Paul's second ministry journey, while he remained at Corinth.2 Thess:Time of writing, Approx AD 54 Same is 1 Thess.It seems they were both written at close to the same time. I don't know by what means they decided which is 1 and which is two except maybe the content of 1st Thess is less in depth on some things and 2nd goes into more.One thing that impresses me about these two books is that they are written to a very young church made up of very new believers.
