It's sad because it reflects the state of much of Christendom these days, walking in some type of unconscious state unable to see our sin. It reminded me of a Keith Green song I sometimes play when my heart is hard entitled "Asleep in the Light." That cartoon is fantastic. :-P :-P Isn't the latin root of "amusement" something like "un- thinking"...isn't that what "a-musing" means? Our brains crave amusement, which pours from our televisions like a busted sewer line!MC

Interesting MC,So "unthinking" would lead to unconsciousness and that's why many cannot deal with their sin honestly before God. So they chose to be amused, rather than to deal with their sin. That's a terrifying thought...1 Thessalonians 1:6 "Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober."
