What's God Doing In Your Church?

Im really interested in knowing if anyone is experiencing any revival in their church.I attended a local fellowship that is having revival.This is only the second time I really experienced God having control over a meeting and it was so awesome!I had been praying for atleast 10 years for revival in our area.Finally I found out from another brother that a revival was taking place so I went.This preacher has a fellowship that meets at a motel called the Econo Lodge.If your ever in the St.Pete.,FL area you should visit sometime.Its off us19 in the clearwater area.The pastor name is Nelson Noble and he has a wife Lavelle.He has the gift of discernment.Im always nervous around him because he reads your mail.Thats why the fear of God is always there and if you have sin at your door God usually gives Nelson a word.The first time I walked in there he spoke an encouraging word over me that Im still waiting to come to pass.I didn't tell anyone I was sick and he gave me a word that God was healing me.He also told me about some things that were happening in my life and that God was going to give me the victory over it.The presence of God in that little fellowship is so sweet!We had a guest preacher there once and he didn't even preach,he just stood there and the spirit of God was just like a blanket over the meeting.It was so peacful and some people were laughing in the spirit because the joy of the Lord just floods you.Alot of people got prayed for.Both Nelson and this other preacher never do anything in that meeting till the spirit moves them.I totally lost track of time.When the spirit of God is on you,you cant get up.I came home and the spirit of God was still on me for atleast a week.Its so peaceful that you just want to lay there and never get up.I can't wait to go back again.I don't think people ever hunger for revival because they've never experienced it.Once you do though you'll never want anything else.Has anyone else been experiencing any revival?

I was converted while attending my church, but while I was out of town. I more recently had an experience that I will describe as a Holy Ghost Baptism (sorry, no tongues, but I'm not waging war against tongue-talkers or anything). Immediately after the experience, the first person I talked to was a lady at church that I knew who had been praying for God to move on our church (holy wind, holy fire, etc). Not a coincidence.I ended up starting to meet her for prayer every week. We have since started a weekly prayer meeting at church. There have been some things that have happened that are more than coincidences. A teen-ager at church who just makes me want to shout with joy because he is such a God seeker, was converted the same day as me, at possibly the same time, but we didn't know each other, and were not even in the same state. Just thinking about everything that happened to bring us into a conversation where we figured this out, and both of us having a hunger for revival, as well as for the Word, and for great preachers, just floors me. Our evangelism minister, I think, was brought to our church to help the purposes of God. He is heavily Calvanist, but we are a Methodist church. He has no problem with preaching damnation, but I hadn't heard the subject brought up in a sermon in our church from the time I began to go there as a kid, until he preached. The fact that he is even there makes no logical sense, but makes sense when you push everything aside and focus on God.There are some at our church that insist that revival is coming to us. I think and hope they are right. It seems that God has given me the resources and the desire to seek revival in a very short time. And so I will, regardless of whether or not the church is revived. I experienced personal revival, but what an awesome thing it would be to see a community outpouring of the Spirit of God. I need more Him, and always will. I just hope more of us recognize this, but also act on it.

In my local fellowship, I have to speak else where often but here's whats going on. There have been 2 medically incurrable deseases healed by Jesus alone, apart from the doctors. In both cases the individuals were sent home to die. In both cases thier was no cure. In both cases the prognosis was certain being verified by serveral medical experts.One of the healings also had an accompaning liver and kidneys that Jesus made new and also removed cancer. The other healing was terminal and the Lord healed this sister in front of nurses and they saw the physical manifestation of it while in progress (I understand that the nurses stood there and wept). The bone spirs the were protruding out the knee disolved in front of medical personal, than this sister got up and walked without a walker(something she hasn't done for almost 2 years) and to this day is moving about freely and looks 10 years younger than previously! In both case they have been verified by the medical experts as having been completely and unexplainably healed, Golry to God!! The healings I believe came as a result of corporate prayer on behalf of these two saints of God. There has been a real "air" of joy in the great congragation with an expectancy of revival/awakening breaking out , and its been building over the last several months. There's more but that's enough for now. God Bless
