A Ray of Hope in Seminary

Hey Guys,I just thought I'd write you to let you know there is some hope in our seminaries. At Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where I attend in Charlotte, NC, one class we are required to take, Dynamics of the Spiritual Life, requires that we have a day long retreat with the Lord. Just us, Jesus, a bible, a journal, a loaf of bread, and some water.I've never heard of a seminary doing such. I know we didn't do anything like that at my last bible college.

my home church, Lakeview Baptist, runs a seminary, of 8-10 people, for a larger seminary. Its run by our pastor and they have a similar program to this I think they do it once a month as a requirement for a class.
