Please Pray for TristenMy grandson who is all of three and in the care of his dad who will not give the child back to his mother, my daughter. Daddy is mad at mommy. Where this child is, is not healthy for the mind, or growth of the child. His home has always been with my husband and I, then his mom. DHS has told dad he could never have the child but it is not in writting so the police can't do anything. Tomarrow I plan to go to DHS and see what we can do, as my daughter does not have the money for a lawyer. Her face is so swollen from crying....Please trust me this child needs to be gotten out of that house. He has been there since Thursday. And mommy needs to wise up. It is sure that any hope she ever had of the two of them getting together to be a family is all lost now, maybe for the best. God knows.

Probably thousands of stories like this, yes it's sad that the little child in stuck in the middle of all this I don't know either parent so I could not possibly judge either nor would I want to, but most of the time these are spiteful acts and do nothing for anyone involved except continue the pain. Unless the child is being harmed there is not a lot the authorities can do until this all comes to a head in the courts. This looks to be one of many valleys of life we all go through sometimes that only prayer alone can help us out of, but remember if you pray for God to help you must be willing to turn the whole situation "not part" over to him and let go and let God so to say and remember giving him 99% and you keeping 1% will not qualify it has to be total submission. I can tell you from personal experience I have been in this situation before as a child and as a parent "but God" worked it all out on his timing we will be enjoying our 32 wedding anniversary December 21 th because God had greater plans for us to grow a little in the valley and then get back into a loving relationship when I was seeing it was all over in the valley and that was 25 years ago God is good but the hardest part of seeing the good arise is waiting for his timing.God Bless

It is sad when the children are the grass to be trempled upon. May the Lord hear our prayers. This as it sounds is quite a sad scenario. However as has already been mentioned you need to turn over the whole scenario to God. He is swift to respond to His righteous servants.Be in God.Halleluiah

Of all days, on Christmas Tristen's dad let him call us, he sounded as happy as a 3 year old should. He talked to me and soon as he found out his grandpa was home he was as determined as he could be to see his grandpa. Later that afternoon we were allowed to go an get him. He is still with us. We did not go to DHS, the night I posted this prayer request, just before retiring for the night a great calm came over me and I knew prayers had reached the throne of God. It was hard waiting ten days, yet the reward was great. He does reward our faith...

the night I posted this prayer request, just before retiring for the night a great calm came over me and I knew prayers had reached the throne of God.Amen! I have to admit I didn't know what to begin praying for but praise the Lord He knew how to answer your heart's cry. Thank you for this testimony. 10 days is a long time in the life of a small child, so it is also a testimony to his father, that Tristen was doing so well with him as a lone parent.
