sermonindex Dec 31, 2005

The Revival Hymn (VIDEO) released...I am very excited and thankful to God for the release of this video. It has been compiled by an anonymous brother from SermonIndex and I am so pleased to see this work spurred on by the Holy Spirit. May it continue to bear fruit and stir us to pray for revival in our lives and in our churches and communities. Also the recording will be available on DVD to share with others for strictly personal use and giving away as gifts or sharing it. Indeed wonderful. A work of God no doubt, all glory be unto God. I DO have a DVD burner and woulden't mind sending a copy to brothers. My only vice is DVD's. Once the job gets going though, I will be in contact. Again though, Praise God for this wonderful work he has wrought by a brother who has chosen rather to glory in Christ, and not in the flesh.

HIGH version of "The Revival Hymn": *right click on the titles and choose "save target as" these files will not stream! (in most cases you will have to RENAME the extension to .mp4 from mpg to get the file to work!!)Noticed that this will open in a Quick Time player here on my system and that you would need to save the file as Greg stated by adding the .mp4 extension to the file name in the "File Name:" box.Just below that you will need to change "The Save as type:" setting from "Movie Clip" to "All Files", that may only be so that you can see them listed but thought it worth mentioning...Now the question would be how to link these together into one continuous ... "Piece". Realize Greg mentioned he would be working on this, but in the mean time wondering if there is some techy advice out there for the end users to stitch these together after they have been downloaded in the mean time ...Now to go watch... :-D

sermonindex Dec 31, 2005

Yes I think to get this together in one file will be a good thing to do even though the size will be pretty big.

Great addition!Whoever the brother or sister is that put it together - thank you.Quick edit though:In the second section of the high quality download, there is a typo of the word "corruption."Is it too late to do some small editing?Kendal

If you run it through iTunes you can create a playlist that will play them consecutively.Excellent, will have to give that a lookOn to the more meaty issue..This is phenomenal! Praise God, have only watched the first 4 parts and had tears, what an incredible job he did with this... the possibilities of reach...

sermonindex Dec 31, 2005

I have taken down the 7 parts and have it all in one part. I will be getting other formats up soon such as, wmv, ram, etc..

sermonindex Dec 31, 2005

The .ram file should be uploaded in the next few days. Are there any other formats that anyone would prefer? I would love to hear comments on what people think about this recording.

This is great! I don't know if anyone has tried or if it will work, but do you think that this could be loaded onto a CD-R as a video and also have the regular audio clip as well, so you could either play it in a DVD player or a CD player? I think that would be great format to pass it out in. I'm gonna try it now...Miles

I think this clip is great! There's something nice about not having the words written to distract you- to encourage you to just close your eyes and immerse in what's being said. But there's also a few parts that can be difficult to understand without knowing (or being able to read) what's being said. This clip is great for that. I think I'll continue to use both the audio alone, and the video clip versions. Thanks for the great work, anonymous brother!Grace and Peace...

Great comments, I would love to hear more of what people think and those who have been able to watch the video. Also those who are able to duplicate DVD's and could mail some to brethren please email me or post your willingness here.

Nice work on this video. I am having one problem though; I'm having no success burning this video to DVD, the synchronization of the audio with the video text gets lost in the transcoding. I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I suspect it is the software encoder I'm using, it may be having trouble with the low data rate of this video. I'm using NeroVision Express 3 to do the transcoding from mp4 to DVD.In Christ,Ron

I am having an DVD quality recording sent to me from the "anonymous" brother. I want to get copies out but primarly to people that will be able to duplicate it for others first. I also burned the mp4 to DVD successfully but I am using an apple computer. But it should work, I also have the mp4 on my video ipod and that works very well.

I live close to a very well known "world" evangelistic ministry (actually 2 of them). One of them I know has it's own video/tv/and production studio. I want to contact them and see if I/we were to supply the material if they would allow me or do it for us. Even if they just did the first distro or two... Be praying about this!!!!!

Even if they just did the first distro or two...Brother I am having an DVD QUALITY recording being sent to me which I will be able to get out to some brothers and sisters so that you can all make copies. If you have an DVD recorder and are willing to get DVD's out to some brothers and sisters on SI then email me or post a reply displaying your willingness.
