Often referred to as "The Scottish Psalter of 1650" because the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland approved the text of this Psalter for use by the church in 1650. Sometimes, as is our practice on this site, the name is shortened to just "The Scottish Psalter." I am going to try and find some audio mp3's of people singing these. It would be wonderful to sing through these like the older saints 100's of years ago. In the hebrides islands they just sang psalms as duncan campbell reported.

Amazing...this is wonderful. I plan on trying to read at least one a day and study it against the Biblical version...I continue to thank God for this site!!!-Chris
