1 Timothy 6:15-16

My question is this: Is verse 16 talking about Christ or God?Hi Chrisgood question, but i think it's quite obvious, it's about Jesus Christ.You can read Rev 19:11-16, where He is named with many names. Also with The Name King of Kings!Jesus is given all power and authority! (Eph 2:15-23, Col 1:15-20)

I have come across many verses that mention God and Jesus so close together that it clouds whether or not the verses are true "diety of Christ" verses. JW's and others use this confusion to uphold their veiws. I took 3 semesters of Koine (New Testament) Greek, but that was 10 years ago, and I have forgotten just about everything I learned and have lost my Greek N.T. (I wasn't a Christian until about 2 years ago.)I guess I was wondering if there are any "Greek scholars" out there that can give shed some grammatical and syntax light on this since the pronouns in Greek are more discriptive than in English.-Chris

i believe its actually talking about God, jesus sits at his right hand in that glory, although the brilliance of that light and incredible glory are described in genesis and (im really not very well read on the old testament) but moses met with him, noone else could approach, they'd fall down dead if they tried and i cant quote for you the exact verse but on nearly every occasion he'd descend the mountain with a glowing face because so great was the Gory of God that he had to cover his head, the people coudn't deal with the shine!
