Dorus,Very lengthy thread...On this issue of "once saved always saved" many Calvinists ask: "you mean someone can lose their salvation? No Way". When non-Calvinists respond to this it seems to me they are using the wrong words. Losing something has the idea that you accidently lost something you wanted: yesterday I had and now, Opps! I lost it and can not find it anymore. No one can lose their salvation that way. But one can walk away from it. Big difference in my opinion. It involves an act of the will. ginnyrose
