I was touched by the idea of 'love' today, I read 1 cor 13 and when I was reading the readings today in 2 John there was a verse that stood out to me:2 John 5-6 (niv) - And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beinning, his command is that you walk in love.1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (niv) - Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
