I have had my card stolen and £250 out of my account taken out of my account

Have you been to the police and reported the theft? Have you been to the bank and told them so they are aware of the theft, and stop monies from going out. £250 may be the start of your account being emptied otherwise!Sue

Dear Dominic,As long as you reported the card stolen as soon as you realised you couldn't find it anywhere, the bank should stand the loss, not you. They are insured for this kind of thing. But suzy's right, you need to have told them by now.

I told the bank straight away and got hold of the police but could not get through. The reason it is serious it is part of my student loan!!
