hi therei have a question.i've been talking to jews a bit lately and some of the things they said are so interesting, ok, so they arent rabbis otherwise i wouldnt get a glance... but i was wondering about the day of rest. why is church held on sundays instead of saturdays these days and is monday the second day of the week? infact i'd like to know a little more about the transition where christ died and then rose again and brought about a few more changes to the way we, God's sons and daughters do life. what were they?

The reason I am suggesting this to you is I am very sure there have been some very good posings on this subject. If you choose to post your thoughts after reading them, they will be brought forward to the active page.

bro Arbustumi read this book called pagan Christianity by Frank Viola and it was amost eye-opening read. it went over the things you asked about and also the story behind seminaries, the clegy and laity and so on. it brought to light many things for me which i didn't give a second thought to which are church tradition but really have no N.T. roots. If the Lord leads, check it out.
