"Jam 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed."Is this talking about the 10 commandments? It seems to be considering it goes on to say this: "Jam 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. Jam 2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty."I ask this question only because some bible pastors I know and respect have told me completely differently in the past. I guess pastors aren't exempt from cherry picking their favorite beliefs and throwing out what they don't like. I want to believe that most pastors are diligent enough in their studies to not do this but haven't found it to be so. I could be wrong on this and please correct me if I am. Any thoughts?
