Are we serious about Revival?

Everyone, if we are serious about revival we must pray more. We must hunger after the Living God. Personally I am tired of all the talk about coming revival, I want to see the revival. I want to see God sweep millions into His Kingdom, for His Glory! maybe one day a week we should commit ourselves to prayer, and fasting for revival. I would like to put forward doing this on Friday, if you are in please post on the thread. I'll start: Every Friday, the Lord willing I will be fasting a praying for Revival!

Personally I am tired of all the talk about coming revival, I want to see the revival. I want to see God sweep millions into His Kingdom, for His Glory!I know that there are many who are burdened like you. I sure am! It gets increasingly painful to watch the waywardness all around me. However, in the midst of it all God is teaching me to rest quietly in his love. "Revival is God's finger pointing at me" This is the title of a well-known sermon by revival leader, Lou Sutera (in the seventies, I think). It deeply impacted me. Through it I earned that the best way we can be part of revival is to allow God to work in our own hearts, do whatever is needed. That is a risky desire. God knows if we mean it, and will not fail to answer our desires. I have learned that we cannot "make" anyone else walk on this path. We can only surrender ourselves to God. He has not forgotten us, and he is working. My pastor was 'passing blood' for several months. He went to the Dr but they had no solution. Our church started fasting one day a week. After a few months of fasting, our pastor was healed. He has been 'blood free' for a few weeks now. He has been healed and our church is still fasting once a week. Our prayers now (atleast mine) are now directed to souls being saved and the church 'waking up.'
