Dad rushed to hospital

W
Willo Jan 26, 2006

G'day, My Dad, and my family needs prayer again. Last night Dad had really bad chest pain, so I called the ambulance and they rushed him to the hospital, it turns out he has had another heart attack. Mum, and I stayed with him til 3:30am, and then went home as the doctor was a few hours away. Not long after we left dad's breathing became like a 'rattle' and it is coming and going, he believes that he has only a very little time left. Mum also has the same feeling. Pray for my Dad, and family during this time that the peace of God will cover us. Thanks Josh

Saints, Thanks for all the prayer support! The doctors are running more tests on Dad to see what is happening, they have said his heart is working at less than 50%.The family is a bit on edge, as 16 yrs ago Dad had open heart operation. The doctors then said he should be dead. But God took it to God in prayer, he asked God that he will at least live til I turn 20, and be established in where God wants me.Well this Thursday (Feb 2.) I turn 20. So the family is all watching to see if God will take him home. Also Dad has asked me to preach the gospel to all the unsaved family, and friends at his funeral. This will be the hardest sermon I have ever preached. So please keep us all in prayer.Bless yaJosh

May God use this situation for His glory, and for the furthering of His purposes here.We know and believe that all things are possible with God (Matthew 19:26, etc.), and that the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous man availeth much"(James 5:16).And if the Lord should call your dad home, we also know that "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints." Psalm 116:15 Praying for you and the family. Your brother, D.
