1 John 5 (ESV): not quite sure what this means

16: "If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life - to those who commit sins that do not lead to death. There is sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for that."I'm not sure what John is trying to get at with that last sentence: is he saying that we shouldn't pray to sin in that manner, or that we shouldn't pray for people who commit sins of this nature?Ben
