Dear friends,I've cancelled my courses and will no longer be attending university. The Lord is calling me to full time ministry, prayer and preaching the Word. I remember a Scripture given to me a few years ago: "My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will."Lord willing, and as the weather permits, I hope to devote myself to preaching the Word, daily on the streets, and wherever else the Lord may send me. I feel the burden of to give myself to prayer, to see revival come. The Lord has called me, I feel the call to the ministry stronger than ever, today moreso than yesterday. I ask for your prayers, for wisdom and guidance and for the purposes of the Lord to be accomplished.Thank you so much, Sermonindex, for the support. God bless you,-Eli

Sure will be praying for you Eli.Will you still be making 'tents' in the meantime ?I Pray the Lord encourage and confirm His calling and enabling on your life.I can understand why He would be calling folks out of career schools to the ministry.Time does seem somewhat short, for freedom.God Bless you brother always.me again

hi, i remember brother ravenhill telling me years ago to watch out for satans greatest weapon against the called; its the grey shapeless item in his bag of tricks,discouragement... mark it well and be encouraged as you step out with the covenant keeping God.jimp

Brother Eli,I am very excited about this and I pray the Lord will guide and speak through you. I would love to be able to go and visit you when I get back to canada from bible school. Keep close to Jesus and I know He will daily guide you. This is very exciting news and may the Lords will be done in your life. It would be great for you to share prayer requests and some stories or even some writings that you do as you step out in this manner.

I ws going to get a BA and AS when I was in college which would have took a few more years. The Lord called me to come home and minister. I do have a job during the week, but if I would have never came back home I wouldn't have started the street ministry that I have. He does seem to be calling many out into the streets!God Bless,Josh

The Lord is calling me to full time ministry, prayer and preaching the Word. That sure is a big challenge, brother! "God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply"- Hudson TaylorOr, to say it with the words of Paul the Apostle:"As a witness who has received God's help to this very day, I stand here..." (Acts 26:22)...and he knew what he was talking about :-)Be blessed brother,Paul
