Let Jesus Reveal His LifeFire shut up in my bonesThe Lord desire is bornIt has found a homeYet the harden flesh must be tornTo reveal the lightOr else He will be hidden in the shadowLike a captured knightWho is held from the battleOr the bone that contains the marrow Let Him reveal His lifeFor this burden beneath is so deepFar past my selfish soul life There He weeps and weepsTo be completely freeTo reveal His pure lifefrom Milton I'm a new member it's great to be among believers.

Hi millstone...Thank you for sharing! I have written love poems and songs to the Lord for quite a while. Usually, I carry a notebook around to my classes and write whenever I feel the inspiration (or more often, passion for the Lord). While in class one day, I had to go to the printer and wait for my lab project to be printed. A girl in the class picked up my notebook and began reading a couple of the poems that I was writing. When I arrived back to my seat, she asked me, "Hey -- who is the special girl?" I didn't know what she meant. But she told me that she had picked up my notebook, read the poems, and it brought tears to her eyes. She said that she could tell that I was passionately in love with the person for whom I wrote the song. I smiled and told her, "I wrote this for Jesus." She looked very suprised, but it opened the door to share the Lord with her. Thank you for sharing! Perhaps we can see more in the future! :-) BTW, welcome to SermonIndex! There are alot of great resources available here! Check out the Sermons using the MAIN MENU on the left of the screen. My favorites include just about anything from Leonard Ravenhill, as well as Ten Shekels and a Shirt by Paris Reidhead.
